Guns and Roses fans riot at GM Place VANCOUVER (CKNW/AM980) -- Hundreds of fans rioted outside GM Place tonight after Guns and Roses lead singer, Axl Rose, failed to show for a concert.
Irate fans used steel barricades to break windows all around GM Place. At one point facing off with police and lobbing bricks at the glass doors to Gate 10 and at police officers.
Police wielding batons, and in some cases, using pepper spray made several arrests managing to quickly disperse the crowd.
There have been no serious injuries reported.
