BEAST WARS TRANSFORMERS "Power Surge"

In the air on patrol, Terrorsaur is surprised to discover a floating mountain high in the air. Flying toward to mountain to investigate, he finds that the interiour of the mountain is teeming with thousands of energon crystyals. Touching one of the crystals, he accidentally absorbs unstable energon into his superstructure. The result is a super powered and larger Terrorsaur. Realizing his new strength, Terrorsaur's first course of action is to challenge Megatron for leadership of the Predacons. As Terrorsaur races to the Predacon base, Cheetor has seen all that occurred and, curious about Terrorsaur's intention, follows him to the Predacon base.

At the Predacon base, all the Preds have gathered with Megatron to see a device to be used to activate a new defense perimeter of mega cannons around their territory. Terrorsaur lands and, acknowledging this new implentation of defense against the Maximals, sees that it would go good with a new leader in charge of the Predacons. He challenges Megatron, who seems unconcerned but more than happy to deal with the treacherous warrior. After a short duel of weapons' fire, Terrorsaur blows Megatron onto a rock ledge a short distance below, followed by Terrorsaur himself. Picking himself up, Megatron is shaken at first but is only filled with much anger. "Terrorsaur, you treacherous worm," exclaims Megatron, "I'll destroy you forever!!!!" and he charges after him. However, Terrorsaur is undaunted, remarking "I don't think so..." and activates his shoudler cannons, bigger than before and sparkling with overflowing energy. He hits Megatron hard in several places, sending him falling off a cliff, hitting the ground in several pieces, and Megatron goes offline. Terrorsaur laughs triumphantly, believing he has destroyed Megatron. He startes to give orders to the rest of the Predacons, suddenly feels the unstable energon leaving his system. Realizing this, he transforms back to beast mode, telling them that Tarantuals is in command until he gets back and flies away, ordering the Predacons to prepare for battle with the Maximals. Scorponok decides to rebuild Megatron in Terrorsaur's absence while, unknowingly to the rest, Tarantulas follows Terrorsaur to investigate his new source of power. Meanwhile, observing from a higher cliff above, Cheetor is shocked at what he has just seen, and races back to home base.

Cheetor is coming in on the Maximal base at top speed. Once inside, he tries to catch his breath while attempting to explain what he saw. He calms down for a moment, and is finally able to get out the information about the floating mountain of energon and Terrorsaur scraping Megatron. Rattrap is skeptical of Cheetor's report, saying "Have you got your circuit's crossed? Mountains don't fly." "Not fly,...float" remarks Cheetor. Rhinox concludes that if there were a large enough concentration of unstable energon, the energy being released could be powerful enough to lift a mountain off the ground. On the situation table, Rhinox brings up a holographic map of the planet and Cheetor points to where he saw the mountain, and informs them that Terrorsaur was heading back to gain more power. Optimus and Rattrap quickly mobilize and head towards the mountain to destroy it before the Predacons can use it against the Maximals.

Meanwhile, on the ground below the mountain, Tarantulas has followed Terrorsaur all the way. He tranforms momentarily and fires a grappling wire and hook onto the underside of the mountain, and transforms back to beast mode to crawl up the wire.

Inside the mountain, Terrorsaur recharges as Optimus flies himself and Rattrap to the power source. The two Maximals walk into the mountain, with huge crystals of energon towering above them. They eventually coming across the central chamber, where Terrorsaur is. Optimus challenges Terrorsaur to an aerial duel. In the meantime, it is Rattrap's job to plant demolition charges to destroy to mountain. After successfully planting the charges, Rattrap heads back to wait for Optimus to return, hopefully before the whole thing blows. Unfortunately, as he is wondering how Optimus is doing, Tarantulas jumps on top of him, and the two begin duking it out. Meanwhile, in the air, Optimus puts up quite a struggle but Terrorsaur manages to shoot him down and heads back inside the mountain to finishing recharging.

Back on a ledge, Rattrap eventually defeats Tarantulas, knocking him completely off the mountain. He sees Terrorsaur flying back to recharge and starts to think that Optimus must've been defeated. However, Optimus is far from destroyed. He climbs over the ledge in front of Rattrap and has him hop on his back. However, Primal's jets were damaged in the fight with Terrorsaur, so they are resorted to jump off, much to Rattrap's disliking.

Back inside the central chamber, Terrorsaur discovers the charges Rattrap has set. Screaming in fear, and abandons the energon. Just as the mountain explodes, Optimus jumps off with Rattrap on his back, sky diving downward and landing in the tangled tree limbs of the jungle below, tired but safe.

Back at Predacon base, Terrorsaur returns thinking he is still leader...until Megatron, fully functional and operational, thanks to Scorponok, shows up exclaiming "Well well, look who's back.", much to Terrorsaur's surprise!
