mind shot with Buddha's blood
the romantic iconoclast
locates in the non-human space
of all our beings
a perverse desire to destroy ourselves
in the re-patterning of words originally
hopeful
hung heavy around the throat
by fear.

Sorry to quote myself, but instantly that came to mind. I love your last three lines...especially " hopeful...hung heavy"...I am a fool for the use of alliteration *swoons*... All I can say, is if they were originally hopeful, my friend, they still are. You make me want to write.
