What,i believed sends people away from USM?Hmmmmm....i hope i dont say things ,that will be used againts me later on.Well,let see favoritism is there for sure.Maybe,a little to disciplined ,yet i dont really disagree with thta,but i know quite a few do not agree with it.Expectations from users are definitely there.Maybe,of course i maybe seeing it not clearly.Confrontation to someone seems to be a blur.You,seemed to not see things eye to with others.Thoe,i am looking at these in regards of how others may feel.I would not nescessarily say it is me who has problem here in USM.Thoe,i wish positive outlook i still seek here.maybe,lay off a little on banning people ,and speak to them like a human being ,instead of ,just another user on this site.Okay,thats a few i can think of as of now,good post!  |

I think a lot of people have been getting BANNED lately-- at least thats what I have heard-- but you know how rumors are. And then there are people leaving because so many of their friends have left or were banned... And then there are a lot of people that are just bored. i had a theory on a post last night based on this topic... and it was deleted. i think people get annoyed that they put time and energy into something only to see it deleted. but this is also why i always ask "what would you do to improve the site" in the interviews. i figure everyone has some input.  |

Everyone gets posts deleted. I just figure peoples situations. Change. I was thinking about this last night. People have to prioritise what they are doing. Maybe in the greater scheme of things usm isn't as important as a job or raising a healthy family.  |

some people leave because they have a busy 'real' life, some leave because of issues they have with USM &/or USMers, others leave simply because they 'out grow' USM or become bored with. Thus is the circle of USM life   |

I got, like, three posts deleted. One on white trash and another on a scary nightmare I'd had, oh, and some debate. But some are sick of the fluffiness. But hey, it's soothing after listening to the evilness of my schoolmates for seven hours a day! I don't feel much negativity towards this place at all.  |

As many reasons as there are leavers...each person has their own...I've had occasional email contact with some who have left, from memory some have cited boredom, lack of 'adult debate', delete-happiness, suppression of aggression which can often 'flesh out' a topic to come towards a great understanding and respect between the two people 'trading blows', perceived fake hollowness, those they enjoyed discussions/debates with being banned, perceived unfair/unjust account deletions, life becoming too busy to be online, merely passing through, perceived bias towards certain people, simply not where they wish to spend their time any more, finding a site that suited their wants/needs better. And like Dizzy said, some aren't around because they have been banned. Peace,  |
