OUR FAMILY GHOST: PART ONE/EVENT #3

...Before selling my half interest in the family house(A year or so later), to another family member, my wife and I developed an uneasy feelings staying on long after mom had passed away, and then with Her unexpected return(IN SPIRIT FORM that is). And, there was my stepfather - he and I did not get along on many basic issues - so, what better reason to leave. We, the wife, me, and our child departed the family home and did not look back. Oh, yes here is Ghost Event#3, ...a few days before our last night in the old house the TV sound volume at the other end of the house woke us up from a sound sleep, it was one of those Mexican programs my mother loved to watch when she was alive, she would watch and listen for hours into the night, all her favorite tv programs. I thought at first the old man (Step dad) fell asleep watching the tube that night, but when I entered the room no one was there in the dark, just the TV making all that noise and me standing there half asleep. I reached down and turned it off then headed back to the bedroom- before I had a chance to put one foot under the bed covers the TV came on again! - I figured I failed to turn it off all the way and rushed back to turn it off - one more time. I went thru the drill, I switched it to the off position. It CAME BACK ON! In anger I pulled the power cord and left the room. Just when I hit the pillow the Thing started up again even louder this time. For sure the old man was doing his best to make our last night in the house uncomfortable. Returning to the livingroom and with the Tv on I reached back to turn off the tube for the final time...I discovered the thing was not even connected...I dropped back on my butt and looked at this TV amazed, the thing was on, running with no electrical power. After playing switch on and off and checking the electrical cord to see if it was not connected I gave up and I ran back to the bedroom and put the pillow over my ears falling fast asleep...The very next day the Tv was silent and from what I learned later from other family members from that day on it never ever worked again. There were many more unusual and strange unexplained events in that family house, too many to mention here and now, in time perhaps we can return to Part One to lean more about the first phase of my life living with the restless spirit of my MOTHER. I say first phase because although I sold my interest in the house and had no further ownership in the place thereafter, a strange unexpected thing happen a year later...My Stepfather passed away and left me his interest in the old family house, so once again Mother called for my return home, she was not finished with me or should I say had some un-finished business to share with me.
