If someone says they're 110lbs and they're really 150 I could care less. Maybe they're afraid people would judge them if they knew the truth. Personally, I think it's because people aren't taught any better by their parents. I recently read in the local paper that statistics are up when it comes to teenagers lying, stealing and cheating. It also said their parents don't care that they do it and try to get them out of it when they get caught. If I can find the article, I'll post it. It's sickening.  |

Well...I work hard for my money, I am by no means rich, some weeks I kinda scrap by on the Bills...in fact some bills I kinda have to dodge till next pay week I am certainly not a model...unless you count being able to do 'Before' shots for Jenny Craig or some plastic surgeon...hehehehe. I smoke, drink, burp, pass gas and have been known to have some rather 'funky' smelling feet if I don't air them out regularly Enjoy scratching my armpits and exploring what new lifeforms might be growing in my belly-button when I'm bored. Oh yes...such a sexy beast. Bwaaaahahaha. My car is not flash in terms of flash flash...it ain't an exotic or anything like that...but it is heavily modified and tricked out...which explains where most of my money went...hehehe. Peace,  |

I've been around long enough and had many phone conversations with other USMers who know I am who I say I am. They hear the kids, talk to them, and over time, we get to "know" each other. I don't trust everyone but there are plenty of people here I do trust and feel comfortable with.  |

I think the main reason why people lie online is they figure they will never meet you in person so you wil never know the truth. I for one cannot stand people who lie for I have been lied to too many times to count. I do not lie and I am very honest with whomever I chat with online. I am no supermodel no do I evenhave a car. The people who lie on line are the ones who feel so insecure about themselvs that they think no one will like them for who they are, so they feel they have to pretend to have all that stuff because they think thats why someone would like them...I'm me weather I'm on line or in person or on the phone... if you meet someone you really like on line and you start a friendship or a relationship with them and most of what you've told them is a lie, why should they trust you once they find out the truth? I've scraped up three dollars yesterday and put it in my checking account for the monthly bank fee so the bank doesn't close my account. *There was .02 cents in there before I put the three bucks in...lol* I do go to school, but I have no job, I do not own a vehicle/car....School is really the only thing I have going for me right now, which of course is good..I just wish I had the other two covered....lol. Lying on the Net or anywhere, (Unless for an obvious good reason, one would not want a weirdo after them.) really stinks...especially the tiny white lies.

and it's so cool to read these replies and see some honest people 8-) i'm broke at the end of the month but it's because i get paid once a month and LOVE to spend..so no matter how much i make (and i make pretty good) i will spend it. if i doubled my pay tomorrow i would still spend it all, but, i'm a taurus, what can i say *-) as to the job, it's a good one, because i get to sit online all day at usm and get paid for it, if the sytem goes down, then i have to fix it, but i do a good job so our system rarely ever goes down. |

Well, I think one of the reasons people lie on the internet is because it is so easy to. You cant see the person, so what they type is your only sorce of info on them. Because when you are just talking on-line, you can fake everything from your eye color to even what sex you are. So, thats one of the reasons I think people lie on the internet so much.  |
