This was told to my mother by a devout catholic woman. It made me laugh really hard.
A little boy was praying to jesus one night. He said "Dear Jesus I've been a good boy this year can you make sure that Santa gives me presents.". Two weeks go by without a reply so he prays again and says " Dear Jesus I'll admit it. I haven't been the best little boy in the world this year will I still get my presents"? Two weeks go by without a reply so he goes down to the local church and steals a statue of the virgin mary. He goes back and prays again and says "That's it Jesus I have your mother!
