chips under skin is a bad thing in my opinion. everything else is ok. We really dont need to rush to meet the end of time in the biblical sense (mark of the beast). If kids were taught better prioities and self defense as well as common sense then we would be ok. Chips in cars and such are ok. They are called Lo-Jacks and are very hard to locate on a stolen object but makes it very easy to find by police units. |

Yeah I think the chips are bad bad! But I don't won't the low jack myself. I think we need to teach more of the public especially children how to protect themselves! |

While you are right in some instances it should be remembered that kids are still being kidnapped even with the whole stranger, danger, thing being drummed into them at a young age. I think the scientists who are doing this at the moment are on the right track, they just have to thin down everything. |

Joe that reminds me of the time you ran away from your girlfriend with a policewoman. Your girlfriend would speed away whenever she saw a police officer because she was hoping that they wouldn't find her and take you back. |

i think this is stupid first its just kids and cars at consent of whomever is in charge of it then its gonna be mandatory and for everyone and another way for the authorities to have us under there thumb of laws |

In my opinion, if this is something that people want for themselves and their families, then that is fine with me. For myself though, as long as I have a choice, I have no intention of getting into anything like this. I have been around long enough to know how the government operates... when they are trying to push something like this off onto the public... they will first present their case and tell us of all the advantages there are in accepting this. They will then sit back and see how people react to it. If it is accepted by us , then eventually the government will turn it to their own advantage and will in time make it mandatory! The better to spy on you my dear! Yep, it's all about control! I hope I am wrong... but I don't think so! |

Where was it first heard of a mark similar to this that would be made mandatory, and if you did not recieve it, you could not buy or sell anything without it? Hmm, but its just a coincidence huh! |

I am against "chipping," or "tracking" anyone. Look at it this way! There are seven satellites tracking your child, five relay stations getting the satellite information, and countless strangers knowing where your child is, before the information comes to you, via a server - much like having a telephone or internet company - do you really think you're child is safer? Au contraire. A really smart and technological savvy kidnapper, can find YOUR child. The best way to protect your child is to keep them with you, or with someone you trust, AT ALL TIMES. The media hype on recent child abductions from children's backyards and bedrooms is to prepare the country for the idea of "chipping," their children on some false premise of safety. Teach your children to be wary of strangers, and a secret code. Teach them self defense, and how to get help. But above all, teach them to trust in God, for only he can be the "angel," vs. the "digital angel/verichip" that can keep anyone safe. Good post. |

You know, too - you don't NEED a Social Security card, but try doing anything without one. |

FreeGirl, You mentioned the Social Security card. I too have thought long and hard about that. We all know that today if we don't have a social security card we cant buy or sell anything. It is a requirement now that everyone gets them at birth. However the social security number is not a tattoo, (a marking devise on the body, forehead or hand) but this new chip the size of a small grain of rice can make it one. It has a barcode for scanning "EVERYTHING" about us "Including" our Social Security Numbers. It, I feel is going to be the thing that will match the idea of the marking of the hand, or forehead (for easy scanning machines, or scanning Guns) that will continue carrying the number of a man (Social Security number) that will prevent them from buying or selling. Now, by Govermental forcing, we will have "BOTH" the Mark, (the chip) and the Number. It I feel is only months away from being forced upon us all due to the Homeland Security Issues. |

The chip is voluntary now, as was Once the Social Security card. Then after enough volunteers recieve it, it then will accepted and Implemented for everyone as a mandatory System. The speedy proccess that this will happen is going to be Astounding due to Homeland Security issues, and a President who is pushing and signing excecutive orders left and right. He has become a major terror to the world today with the mere stroke of a pen. He has advanced so much, as Congress has given him so much free reighn since 9-11 that he can do pretty much as he pleases. The only reason he is trying to reason with Congress and the U.N. now is to better his plans. But does he have to? NO he does not. Since 9-11 the gates have been opened for him. |

this is one of those "open the door issues" where it starts out as a how can you argue such positive results and the majority accept it only to have it get out of control and cannot be taken back and that is without even specifying any religious beliefs along with it. kind of like abortion and welfare, way out of control but impossible to take back to reason. |

This is one of those debates we should all. Take notice of. We are going to be branded! Like sheep! Of course there is anothr way to lookat it. I mean, take big grother for example. Should we have cameras watching over us? I think so, they help catch crime makers. Its not like we have a massive bad electrical monster pleasuring himself. We need control, for Goodness sake. If we didn't, we'd have streets full of people wandering around banging into things. It's all about direction, you see. The next logical step is to attach micro cameras into our heads, so the devil can watch our every move!! love bob |

Whenever you hear the phrase, "this is to protect your children/freedom/rights" then you can be sure the opposite is true. |
