i read this in 'think and grow rich' by napolean hill a while ago. He said that when thomas edison was inventing all of his inventions he had this chair he sat in. He sat in the chair with a steel ball in his hand and a steel bowl underneath. When he drifted off all the way to sleep his hand would release the ball and it would crash into the bowl instantly wakeing him up. By constant practice he learned to keep hold of the ball and balance his consiousness in the dream state. and it is said that thats where he came up with some of his greatest invention ideas. pretty interesting huh? anyone else heard of this thinking chair?.
