hmmmm......Bright Eyes? they're a really cool, depressingly emo band, but i love them and i'm even into really hardcore punk, sometimes. let me see....besides local bands that you wouldn't be able to get your hands on....less than jake? i know that a lot of people probably know them, but they're one of my favorite ska bands, so i couldn't forget about them :P OMG i looove the used!! ....and lost prophets are pretty good too; check out Injected or Thirty Seconds to Mars, if you like lost prophets because they have an almost parallel sound at times. hehe well lots of love...peace and tangerines  |

and Boss is good. I for some odd reason went to go see that buffoon Corey Feldman try to attempt to sing, and Boss was the opening band. They were so good. They were a local band (Atlanta, Georgia). Try to find something by them on www.mp3.com Their album was called Super Lucky Boss |

This may perhaps be a bit dated, but The Replacements had to be one of the best bands of the 80's, yet never seemed to reach that plateau during that time.  |

There's a new band called Maroon 5 that I just recently heard of through the Launch 'Em or Leave 'Em contest. They didn't make it passed round one but I think these guys rocked!! Anyone else ever heard of them? Their song is called Harder to Breathe and if anyone else wants to check these guys out, they have a website where you can take a listen to this song for yourselves. If anyone's interested in hearing it, it's http://www.maroon5.com ... I dunno, maybe it's just me but I thought they blew away most of the competing bands in that comptetition.
