every year my youth group sells pumpkins to go to a youth convention... (its in tennessee and is held every 4 years) So anyways we have pumpkin carving classes, where we teach little kids (and older people) to carve pumpkins, and also we teach them how to bake pies and all this other stuff you can do with your pumpkins.. (Yes we had to take a pumpkin carving, cooking, making craft class) But anyways.. its really lots of fun! So selling pumpkins is one of our biggest money making projects  Well have fun with you pumpkins!  |

Normally, we would. But this year we didnt. The reason was because there werent any good pumpkins here this year! All the ones that were a nice, big size and very round were that ugly yellowish color, and all the ones that were the pretty orange color looked warped...so to speak lol. So we didnt get to carve a pumkin this year   |

The best part about the whole pumpkin carving thing is smashing them after Halloween. Back when we used to carve pumpkins, I used to drop them off the balcony of our house after halloween was finished. That was fun. The kitty inside the pumpkin! LOL  |

I saw a site where you can carve a Kurt Cobain face on a pumpkin, along with other singers. I thought that was pretty cool.  |
