Date: 10/29/2002 4:14:00 PM From Authorid: 47734 Yes she could.. but there is a common misconception about pregnacy. A woman is pregnant for 40 weeks.. which is actually 10 months.. But it is hard to determine exact dates when it comes to babies. |
Date: 10/29/2002 4:18:00 PM ( Admin-DNL ) yes, sooner or later... |
Date: 10/29/2002 4:37:00 PM From Authorid: 53900 There is always a chance that a baby will be born early. He/she will come when they are ready though. |
Date: 10/29/2002 4:58:00 PM From Authorid: 33925 The more pregnancies, the more of a chance for the Mom to have Braxton Hicks contractions..They feel like real contractions, but are not regular and dont extend across the whole belly..These are the types of contractions many Mom's have when they go into the hospital with false labour...The more children you have, the more likely you are to have a quick delivery..You dont necessarily go earlier..just faster..Oh and Congratulations to the Mom to be and family! |
Date: 10/29/2002 5:06:00 PM From Authorid: 53052 9 months already and she is due nov 30th??(i guess you mean 8 months she is right now) age of the person is a factor... your mother isn't 20 anymore.. labour is usually not as long becuase of having other children... personally i was 17 days late when my mother had me(and i was her second child) it all depends on your mothers past history of having children |
Date: 10/29/2002 5:32:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 59400 She is 36 weeks Fri. The doctor constantly changes the due date. He has said the 30th. but me and my mom dont think she is going to make it that long. |
Date: 10/29/2002 5:34:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 59400 IT'S A BOY! She has had 5 girls. This was a total shock pregnancy. VERY UNEXPECTED!! |
Date: 10/29/2002 5:35:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 59400 My mom is 39. |
Date: 10/29/2002 5:40:00 PM From Authorid: 60945 It probably means that the bvaby will come a little early. I was born a month and a half early and here I am!! I'm sure the baby will be fine. ~Demonicangel~ |
Date: 10/29/2002 5:46:00 PM From Authorid: 33925 The next time your Mom has pains..tell her to start timing them...If they are coming at regular intervals..Like every 10 minutes, 20 minutes..etc...and if she can feel the tightening across her whole belly, she should probably go to the hospital to have it checked..it could very well be false labour..she still has a Month to go, and if she doesnt have a history of having premature babies, she will most likely go full term with this one as well..but if she is noticing regular contractions, she might want to go and have it checked just to be on the safe side. |
Date: 10/29/2002 6:54:00 PM From Authorid: 22852 I am sure your mom could answer this question for you, after having so many children, she will know when the time has come. But remember with each child the labor usually gets shorter, so if her contractions start coming in close have her checked out to be on the safe side. And congrats on the impending birth of your new baby brother! |

Wow someones going to have a baby soon. I can tell you6 four weeks isn't really too early, and she's come pretty far for being high risk. I bleieve that putting eight years between this one and the last makes it lsee possible to premature birth. My first son was 6 weeks early and my second 2 weeks early. They were 3 yrs apart, and my last child isn't conceived yet, but there will be like four years between them so I don't think the last wil be early. She's fine but may be experiencing some pre labor symptoms, she should go see her gynocologist. I bet youare exited for your new sibling, enjoy it, babies are great, it's the getting up every two hours that gets me lol Crystal |
