Angleeyes_2001 died last night ............... MonkeyLuvr

Many of you didn't know my aunt. Some of you commented on a few of her stories here: Author ID: 46223. Her screen name was angleeyes_2001.

This person, my aunt, Meschelle Rickerds, died as of 10-27-02. She was 41 years old.

Meschelle was the most alive person I ever knew. Physically active, laughing, I never saw her without a laugh.. a few weeks ago, I asked for prayers for her from some of you, she was going into the hospital for open heart surgery. She came through with flying colors, just the other day she got a clean bill of health from the doctor.

Meschelle was an amazing woman, a woman I was privelaged to know and have as my aunt. I had a bond with her as I do no other of my aunts, and her death has left a huge, aching, empty hole in my heart. She will always be remembered by me.

Meschelle was one of those people that made life fun. She supported me, let me cry on her shoulder many times, gave me advice about life and love, helped me through heartache, quitting smoking, the death of my pets... and so much more.

I won't say good bye to Meschelle, because she lives on in my heart and the hearts of others... I will bring you all a message, though, one that may save your life. Call it my last gift to Meschelle, one that I would have loved to gift her with, but didn't realize the finality of death until too late...

Meschelle had a family history of heart disease, her mother died at 43 of a heart attack. Meschelle died at age 41, we don't know the cause as yet, an autopsy is being done, but she did go through quadruple bypass heart surgery a few weeks ago. If you have a family history of illness, get yourself checked. Don't leave your family with this huge empty place inside. And if you don't have a family history, get checked anyway, at least once every two years. Find a problem before it's too late. Don't gamble with life.
