its getting old
want to run and yell
get rid of the cold
this time of year holds all
the bad memories
of what it was
and who i was
looking for an unfriendly release
somebody told me i'd always have to defend
who i was, stand up tall and hold out through the end
i can't break i'll hold up for everyone again
i'll turn to steel and make everyone alive again
the summer had its releases
but the winter never eases
pain from everything but no point of origin
depression comes up but no one will be let in
i'll hide the hate and anger behind a smile
hold off the break for just a little while
