My Way Out...Stargazer.

I think everyone has his/her own way to scape reality. While i dont use any form of mind altering substances to leave this realm , i do indulge in a little tv watching here and there , my favorite being "Startrek". I leave everything behind and submerge into that universe , forget the rat race of the every day , and become someone whos a true believer of "Human" ideals and equality in general. Do we trully have to wait for the 24th century to achieve this ideals? Do we even have a chance to reach that far away future? If we dont blow the planet , maybe , we will grow spiritually enough , to surpass our technology . I hate to think what the alternative would be. Hope for the future i guess , is better than nothing.

How it changed my life:

Gives me hope that maybe one day , we will realize that we are not alone in the universe.

Personally, though, Star Trek is a bit too Utopian for me. I like to indulge in the future prophesied by Babylon-5, where the universe is constantly shifting, and no one is entirely what they appear to be!
