I Am The Hippiechick

I am the Hippiechick. I wear tie-dye shirts with
prairie skirts and walk around barefoot. I listen to
psychedelic music and put flowers and beads in my
hair. I can tease my hair into an Afro if I want or
let my hair flow down my back in an auburn waterfall.
I am the Hippiechick. I carry out what my parents?
generation believed: Love, not Hate. Peace, not War.
Unconventional instead of traditional. I am the
Hippiechick. I do not think that people should be
judged by their differences. I am not into the
political scene. I do not think that world has taken
the hint to "Give Peace A Chance". I am the
Hippiechick. I am happy to hear that bell-bottoms and
platform shoes are coming back. But even if that
wasn't the style I would wear them anyway, because I
am the Hippiechick. I dance in the rain and I ride
bareback into the sunset. I am the Hippiechick.
