Date: 10/7/2002 2:11:00 PM From Authorid: 49101 Well, when I was 15 I took both of my little sisters to the Arkansas Satae Fair, (We lived there at the time) and the next thing I know we are walking right into the middle of a gang fight. Two VERY large groups of gang members were walking toward eachother from oposite sides of the road, and we were RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE. I grabbed both of my sisters, pushed them in front of me, and ran with them, pushing them faster the whole time. fter we had cleared the area, I heard gun shots, at least it sounded like gun shots... THAT WAS REALLY SCARY! |

Date: 10/7/2002 2:34:00 PM From Authorid: 20104 OMG I forgot about this. We went to a movie when I was 12. We came home and the light in the kitchen was on. My mom got mad at me cause I left it on. I thought I turned it off. Then we went to the door and it was unlocked. I got yelled at for not locking the door. I thought I locked it though. We walked up the stairs and there was a lady in our kitchen cooking and had a butcher knife by her side. She started screaming "Get out of my house" and luckily my brother who's nickname was GIJake had a huge knife on him and pulled it out. He told the lady she better get out and we are calling the cops. My mom grabbed the phoen and called and my brother chased her out of the house. She ran into the cornfield and he never found her. I guess the cops did though. She was a mental patient who had escaped from some hospital about 20 miles away. She went a long way!!! That was freaky. |

From Authorid: 53284
When I was 17 I built a motorcycle. It was really really fast. I used to drive around town like a maniac. Anway, I went through an intersection about at about 40 miles per hour, and who was sitting at the arterial stop sign but a police man. So I immediately accelerated. The cops came after me with the red lights and siren blaring. Good clean fun. By the time they got up to speed, I had more than a full block lead on them. I wen for about 8 blocks till I got to this huge open lot. It was basically the size of a full city block. I went roaring into the lot at full speed and took the first good sized jump. THen I hit my breaks. The cops went around to the other side to try to catch me on the way out. I rode back up the jump, saw the cops on the far side of the dirt area, waved at them and took off. |

Date: 10/8/2002 12:31:00 AM From Authorid: 18516 Let's see well my dad was harrassed by these poedunk bumpkin cops and when we were in atlanta I remember gunshots being fired in my neighborhood or near it and I remember the police telling us to stay near the floor and away from the windows. we were also the victims of a robbery..someone came up to our front windows and stole our bikes and another time someone broke into my dad's work truck. We didn't witness it tho. There were also a few murders close to home. Ahhh the wonders of living in a violent city... |
Date: 10/8/2002 3:17:00 AM From Authorid: 28190 Nope, I havent ever witnessed anything like that.. but this one time, this wacked out dude stopped in front of our house and was pointing a gun at my sister.. He stood there, with it and threatened her verbally. Mom went out there to see what was going on and so did my nephew, he was wanting to know what mommy was doing.. So my brother proceeded to call the cops, and I had to go out there and grab my nephew up.. A few minutes later about 8 squad cars surrounded him.. pushed him to the ground and arrested him for public intoxication and threatening a person with Deadly intent... it was about as scared as I have ever been in my life *shudders* |
Date: 10/8/2002 1:19:00 PM From Authorid: 8090 When I was a kid, we lived in San Antonio, TX. They had just built Windsor Park Mall, and my father saw a man running out of Montgomery Wards with a radio tucked under his arm and a store employee chasing after him. My dad got out of the car, ran and caught the guy in the middle of the highway intersection. The thief pulled out a switchblade and tried to stab my father with it, but my dad used some of his military police tactics on him, lol, got the guy on the ground somehow, and held him there until the police arrived. We were watching everything from our car, and let me tell you, we were terrified when that man pulled out that switchblade! My dad was the BOMB!!! ....lol |
