I was mowing the lawn once and it was a really hot day. I had left an ice cold bottle of Gatorade on the porch and when I went to get some, it was all gone. Then I started hearing this strange noise so I went to see what it was. It turned out to be Moon Girl. She was hiding in a bush and she had hiccups. She insisted that she didn't drink my Gatorade but I didn't believe her. Where else could it have gone and why did she keep having to run to the bathroom? I can understand that since it was a full 32 ounce bottle. To this very day, she maintains that she had nothing to do with it. Later that afternoon, I had to be admitted to the hospital. The doctor told me that I had become overheated and dehydrated and that I had been near death when I was brought in. His exact words were, "You wouldn't be here now if you had only had some cold Gatorade." Yeah, Moonie's great but just don't have her around if you're working in the yard. Did she really expect me to believe that she was looking for her contact lens in that bush? I think she was just trying to pay me back. Well, that and the fact that it was so hot and she loves Gatorade. She said that my second-hand smoke had given her Aunt Bessie tuberculosis. That's a little hard to believe since she lives in Omaha but that's what MG seems to believe. I have a question. If a person's sight in so bad that they need vision correction, when they lose a contact lens, what is the point of looking for it? How do they expect to find a tiny, clear thing if they can't see without it? If they can see well enough to find it, they probably never needed it in the first place. Well, anyway, those are my thoughts on MG. Now, who else can we talk about behind their back?  |
