A friend is someone who never ceases to amaze you,
Astound you,
Or make you proud of them.
They always defend you when you are in need,
In trouble,
Or just plain lost.
They never barrage you with questions like
What wrong?
What's the matter?
They'll either know,
Or care enough to know,
That you don't want to talk about it.
A friend is someone who cares about you,
Who likes you,
Who loves you.
A friend is something everyone needs to survive.
