The night rang it's darkness
Shadows everywhere
A world of unknown secrets
A world to only a few has been shown
Shadows have a life
Of their own
Breathing, wondering, a life
Unseen, what could it mean
Oh one is dancing on my wall
One makes itself 6 feet tall
One laughs at all the others
One remains still
I take that shadow
To my heart knowing
How it feels
To give everything, yet no one sees
Blessed it be this hour
Now & forever for a day
