CAMP GUADALAHARA Chapter #2 ~Rika~

It was still dark the next morning as the A Cabin awoke. Erika, Melissa, Jessica, and Alyssa all stretched and yawned. Melissa and Erika immediately started chatting and giggling about Logan. Jessica leaned over the top bunk and looked down at them. "What are you two whispering about?" Erika looked up. "Ohh.. did you see that new kid? He is HOT." Jessica rolled her eyes and started down the ladder of the bunks. "I bet he's not HALF as hot as Cain." she said with a smirk. Melissa, Erika, and Alyssa all let out a sigh. Jessica was always talking about Cain. It was no wonder.. they'd been going out for a long time.

Melissa and Erika grabbed their towels and went off to the showers. "We'll see you guys later!" they called as they walked out the door. They walked down the path that they had met Logan on. "I hope he's there today!" Melissa said. Erika smiled.

After their showers, they went back to the cabin and got ready for the day. They both put on denim miniskirts. Melissa wore a white baby tee and white flip flops and Erika wore a black baby tee and black flip flops. They walked outside and heard a skateboard hitting the gravel. They ran over excitedly. "Oh.." Melissa said flatly. "It's just James.." James smiled and waved as they approached. Melissa put her hands on her hips. "Have you seen Logan?" she said, yawning. James looked confused. "Logan?" he said. Erika chimed in. "Yeah.. that new kid.. he skateboards, too!" James shrugged. "Sorry.. don't know him.. what, do you like him or something?" Erika looked defensive. "What?! I have a boyfriend!" Melissa rolled her eyes. "Well we both think he's cute!" They talked for a while more until it was 9 AM and time for the creative drama class.

Erika and Melissa walked quickly to the main cabin, wondering what was in store for today's class. On the way, they overheard a conversation between a girl and a guy, through the bushes. They sneaked over and peered through a bush. Erika grabbed Melissa's arm. It was Logan.. and he was talking to Hope, the quiet girl who never talked to anyone! She was smiling as he showed her some tricks on his skateboard. They seemed to be having a pretty nice time conversing. Melissa and Erika both felt a pang of jealousy.

"Why is he talking to HER?" Melissa complained as they stormed away. "I dunno.." Erika said. "But I CERTAINLY don't like it!" The girls entered the main cabin with scowls on their faces. Jessica approached them. "What's wrong, ladies?" she asked with a confused look. Melissa started ranting. "That new kid was talking to Hope.. yes HOPE. I mean.. what in God's name? I mean.. come on! She never even TALKS to anyone! I bet she's just talking to him because he's hot! Well God.. she probably thinks she's too good for everyone else!" Erika didn't say anything.. instead she just stood there looking annoyed.

Brennan came up to the group. "Hey guys!" he said, smiling, although his smile slowly faded as he saw the sour look on his girlfriend's face. "What's wrong..?" he asked. Erika let out a deep and heavy sigh. "Brennan, it's NOTHING.." she said, walking away. Bren wondered what he said wrong.. after all, Erika hardly ever called him "Brennan". "Come on Lizzel.." she said and Melissa followed her away from Jessica and Bren. On the way, Melissa muttered under her breath, "Stupid Hope.."

Suddenly, they heard a huge and dramatic cry. "Oh the HORROR.. how terrible a dream it WAS.." They looked up to the stage and saw their worst nightmare, Jackie. As usual, she was overdressed and over-made-up. She was being way overdramatic. Everyone turned to listen to her recite her lines and she was as usual, sucking up all the attention. After she was done, she got off the stage and walked directly over to Bren. "Heyyy Bren!" she said, flirtingly. Erika's face turned red and she got extremely irritated. "EXCUSE ME JACYLN. NOBODY CALLS BRENNAN 'BREN' EXCEPT ME!" Jackie turned to Erika with an irritated look. "Don't be jealous!"

"JEALOUS!??!" Erika and Melissa cried at the same time. "Don't flatter yourself!" With that, Erika and Melissa walked out angrily.
