they could if you don't have room for them....if you have room for them *most people don't* then there's really no worry.....if you don't if I remember right they 'push' your teeth so they all go kinda crooked and such |

Not to be mean but in my case I need mine pulled out, the dentist said I don't have enoguh space for my wisdom teeth so as soon as they start going out my dentist is yanking those suckers out, hehe. If I don't have them removed, since I don't have space my teeth will get all twisted and end up on top of each other. Who knows, maybe your mom is making you suffer for a while until you learn your lesson and will come to the rescue at the very last minute. -*Skylar* |

my wisdom teeth had to be cut out of my mouth. They started to come in then got "jammed" in there. I had severe earaches and jaw aches until I got them removed. I waited a little too long to get them taken care of too because they pushed my teeth forward, and now all my front teeth are crooked |

Wow.. I kept my kids on mine til they were too old to be on it because teeth need constant attention!... I have had dental insurance on my teeth for many many many years and I cant stress how important it is to go to the dentist regularly even if you dont think you need to.. teeth are constantly being broke down and we need a dentist to help with that.. I hope that you can get something done soon because if you dont it could make your teeth start going crooked like it did my next door neighbor. Her teeth were perfect too, and when her wisdom teeth started coming in, she didnt have room for them, and they shoved all her teeth forward and made them extremely crooked......go let a dentist look at them.. even if you have to work a crappy job a few weeks to do it.. you wont regret it.. Good luck .. |

Well this might explain why you've been so cranky..lol. Some people don't have to have them pulled, it depends on how much room you have in your mouth. My dentist told me before mine came out that I would have to have them cut out. They came out when I was 18 and incidently the exact same time that I lost my parents insurance. Well, here I am 25 and my teeth are a mess. I'm just now financially able to have them taken out and to try to repair the damage that it has caused. So far the bill is around $1200 and thats to be paid in cash since I don't have insurance. You are never too old to go to the dentist. You need to have regular check ups every six months. |

Go to a hospital and get rated. Of course you need a hospital with an oral surgeon. I got my wisdom teeth pulled for free. Just look into it. Doesnt hurt to try. Because believe me the pain does get worse. Dont mean to scare ya sorry. I just know what you are going through. Chickywoo. |

Join the military.. hehehe I was dreading havng to pay for have my sons wisdom teeth pulled, and while he was in boot camp.. they pulled them out for him for free! Boy was i ever happy and so was he because he has such nice teeth and he gets all the work he needs done for free! But if that is not an option look around for a dentist who will accept monthly payments. Good luck and I hope they get pulled soon. |

Just wait a few more days and the pain will go away. Usually, dental insurance doesn't cover oral surgery anyways. Mine have been coming in sideways for years now, and every now and then my mouth aches SO BAD, but after a day or so, the pain subsides. |
