And we will continue it right.....here:
She whipped around, shocked to see her father smiling at her fro mthe door frame. "Dad! Please REFRAIN from doing that. You almost made me spill paint all over the place." "Oh, I'm sorry baby," he replied, as he walked over to kiss the top of her head. He than left the room.
Luna closed her eyes in relief, and walked over to open her attic window. She unlocked the latch, and let it swing open. Living in a centuries old house had its advantages. One was the ood fact that her Tarot readings came out more clearly then before. The draft flowed into the room, instantly cooling her off, and drying the wet paint on her canvas. She stepped over her box of art supplies to turn on the radio. Once she was fully relaxed my the music, she fell into a restfull night's sleep.
The sound of the faucet runnning woke her from her slumber. Luna wiped her unique eyes and blinked until she got properly adjusted to the light. She rand down the stairs, into the waiting arms of her mother. "Oh, Mama!" she said excitedly, for no particular reason. Luna did a twirl, and sat down at the breakfast table.
"Meliara!!!" Luna screamed her friend's name as she entered the school building. "How was Trinidad? Was it exciting? Did you bring back any suivenirs?" she asked anxiously. "Lovely, it was just LOVELY!" Meliara replied, equally as excited to be back home. Luna stared at Meliara's facial features. She noticed her long, perfect nose, green eyes, lightly freckled skin, pouty lips, and long auburn hair. Oh, how she wished to look like her.
Meliara, noticing Luna's pensive stare and said, "What's wrong? Is something bothering you?" Luna shook her head in responce. "No, it's nothing." "Okay," Meliara said, tucking Luna's raven hair behind her ear with a smile.
Clink! The cash register closed. "Thank you for visiting the Blue Moon!" Luna said, her emotions hidden behind her smile. She turned to give the customer his change, but he was gone. Her smile was genuine this time. His face remained in her memory. She leaned against the counter, a big grin plastered on her face. She sighed. "Oh wow," she whispered to herself....
