The rain poured down on everyone at the train station from the grey, sad clouds. She boarded the long black, glossy train with the letters T.B. painted on it in curvy, gold letters. She and her aunt sat down in a compartment with a little boy and supposivly his mother. As the train began to start Sara stared at all the men in woman waving with their colorful hankercheifs at the people who were on the train. Sara, unfortunately had no one to wave to. Her mother had been ill for a very long time. Recently she died leaving poor little Sara to go and live with her Aunt Belle. Years earlier, Sara's father had died as well as breaking their family. "Mommy mommy!" the little boy cried to his mother. She smiled back at him with her plum rosy cheaks. "yes sweetie"? He looked up at her and said, "mommy, are we there yet?" The woman laughed and said, "no sweetie, you see that girl over there?" She glanced at Sara. Sara pretended she wasn't listening. "well she isn't complaining to her mother! Sara looked over at Aunt Belle and refused to think of her as her mother from now on.
