"What is it like to be Pagan?"

I read this in an online forum I belong to and thought I'd share...as far as I could see, there was no author name listed to credit.

A woman was asked by a co-worker what it was like to be Pagan. The woman replied: "It's like being a pumpkin. The Goddess picks you from the patch, brings you in and washes all the dirt off of you. Then she cuts off the top, scoops out all the yucky stuff. She removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc, and carves you a new smiling face and puts Her light in you to shine for all the world to see."

Brightest Blessings to all...

Date: 9/26/2002 3:50:00 AM  From Authorid: 59214    When I was studying to become Pagan, I felt heavy and alive at the same time. It was exhilerating, but i felt like I had an ancient responsibility that I couldn't stick to.

I'm not strong enough to be Pagan. But I applaud those who are.
