I have shared so many special moments with Karen, that I dont know if I could share just one. I didnt get to know her until earlier this year... She and mom were, and still are, really close at the time, and I had always been in Awe of the things she would say and inspired by her poetry, that I messaged her, and introduced myself and we foound out that She and I shared the middle name along with mom too, Gail, That name really brought us together. We have talk so many times, joking around, or talking about her kids. Here recently I have been so busy that I havent talked to her much, but I do miss talking to her. She is like a real aunt to me. Her messages have always put a smile on my face or made my heart feel warm. She is an angel, an angel to so many, and an angel to me. She will always have a special place in my heart... AuntyAngelWithTheSameMiddleName... Thank you for blessing my life, my heart, and my soul by being there for me and being such a beautiful person. I think there is a reason why I dont have any to share. I think god was looking out for me, by not making my path cross with this special person, because He knows I couldnt bare to part with someone like that. Im upset, and I dont even know her. Yet I can tell she is beyond awesome. If I had known her, I dont think I could cope with this. Im so sad to hear about this... gee I dunno what else to say.  |

Wow...such an awesome post, for one as incredibly beautiful as Karen...she truly is an Angel on Earth, knowing her has enriched my life beyond anything I could have possibly dreamt a mere mortal could experience...there simply isn't one thing I could single out as a 'special moment'...from the first time her and I traded messages on another site, and got to know eachother, and eventually form a bond of love to the very second I hit 'Submit' when I'm done typing this reply...ALL of it has been one whole wonderous 'special moment'. I have had the pleasure of trading messages back and forth, seeing her amazing posts and comments, meeting her in person more than once ~*Wahoooo*~, and also seeing her special way of helping everyone she meets. We have all been so blessed by being able to meet this dear woman. This has been a gift that will always be in our hearts.  |

I remember when I got my tag and she said I was the prettiest 15 year old boy she'd ever seen. It made me laugh because normally, you don't think of "serious adults" with a sense of humor. Although I've never talked to her one-on-one, from her posts and replies, I can tell she's a smart, caring, strong and well rounded woman. It's such a shame that she has to go through what she's going to and that her friends and family have to feel her pain, too. I can't even imagine what it would be like. I don't know what to say to someone who is dying.. I don't want to offend them or hurt them.. but all I can say is I'm sorry this is happening. .. Now, you're an angel here on earth, but soon, she'll be in heaven where someone with such a soul belongs.  |

Karen has been there for me so many times. She has comforted me while dealing with issues with my children**cries** and has went out of her way to help me with my illness, all the while, suffering with something so much more serious. I can't say enough about this woman. She is amazing and just so loving and sincere. Karen- I still need to meet you! you ain't going anywhere! Until i can...I sent you something today so that you can see it and know that I am with you and you are always in my thoughts! I love you sis!  |

Karen is the best, I have known her for almost two years here now. I remember her from a long time ago, she has always been such a nice and caring person. She might not realize how many people she has reached on USM. She sent me this cute little bunny stuffed animal in the mail and I have it up on my shelf to keep it safe. It always reminds me of her.. lol, there are so many great things to say about Thunderhead. A while back, it seems like years now, but a while back, I remember I had made a post about making people's pictures into characters and I asked if anyone wanted to have them made from there picture.She replied and said I could make one from her picture.I had so much fun, I made her into a 1950's housewife and I think a gymnast, I can't remember exactly, but I remember she messaged me back and thanked me for making her the pictures and that she was laughing and was going to print it out and send it.lol, that was really fun!  |

I don't really know Karen but whenever Karen is in chat shes a very loving person. She helped so many people. Making them happy, always being there for us... Now its our turn to be there for her... I feel terrible that someone so nice has to catch cancer... but there is hope and faith! Love ~  |

I remember the day I asked ThunderSis to be my USM Sister! She messaged me back and said I was reading her mind..LOLOL..she was just going to message me and ask me the same thing! I have had some wonderful chats with Karen..she has a presense about her..She has a way of making you feel so special..so important..and that you matter!! I have received some GREAT emails from her..e-cards, jokes, and just little "hello" notes..Karen is a TRUE friend and she is my TRUE Sister in every sense of the word!  |

Thunderhead stuck out to me from the very beginning. Shes one of the few USMers that I know what she looks like without having to check Banners site. Very impressive for I have a horriable memory! I always looked forward to seeing her replies. I have a lot of respect for her. She really helped me out a lot.  |

Wow this is truely a great post about a great person! I didn't ever get to really talk to her one on one but I do know from what I have read in her posts and how everyone is reacting to this she is truely an angel! I believe USM and everyone here has truely been blessed by a wonderful and caring person! Karen when you read this I just want you to know that even though I don't know you from your posts and some replies I have came across you seem like a wonderful person! I do believe in miracles and you seem to be one that I have grown fond of in a short amount of time! I'd love to chat with you sometime .... I remember at a party a mellow party you were there and it was a while ago but I recall a couple things you said and the more I think about it!
