~Two weeks had passed since Abby heard the voices in her room. That was the last paranormal activity that she experienced, because for two weeks everything was as normal as could be. That is until...~
"No daddy! Please don't hurt me. Drop the gun daddy, please!" Abigail was running from this crazed man. She ran out the back into the shore trying to get away from him, but he was too fast and caught up with her. They struggled and then "BANG!!!" a shot was fired.
With that bang, Abigail woke up. Shaking and sweating she stood up. She felt like she was going to be sick. To weak to make it any farther, she puked on the floor where the foot of her bed was. When she finished she wiped her mouth with the pajama top and went to bed. She wasn't feeling well, and she was certain the dream had something to do with it. She would find out what the dream meant. One way or another, she would find out.
Later in the day, when Abby felt better and her room was cleaned up, she decided to go to the library. She looked through all the newspapers, and almost gave up. Then she came across one particular picture from a newspaper dated July 4, 1953. It was a picture if her house. The accompanied article was about a woman named Mary Stephen. She had jumped from the window of her second floor bedroom, instantly killing herself. Abby looked for more newspapers from 1953, and she came across an interesting head line, this one was dated August 15, 1953. It read: "Father Kills Daughter and Boyfriend Then Kills Himself". Right underneath the headline there was a picture of all three victims. The father, John Stephen, was about 40 years old, almost completely bald, and mustache, no beard and a mean looking face. Brad Cooper, the boyfriend, was 17, dark blonde hair, chiseled features, and even though it was a black and white picture you Abigail was able to see his icy blue eyes, (icy blue is a good thing) he was very handsome indeed. Next was the picture of the girl. This was the first time Abigail had seen her face, Angel, that was her name. Angel was 15, and Abby noticed that Angel had the same strange birthmark that she had, and in exactly the same place. And just as she was able to tell Brad's eye color, she could also tell that Angel had the same violet eyes that she did.
Abby read the article. It explained how John had gotten home early on August 14. He found his daughter when she was about to runaway with Brad. This enraged him. He took his gun from his room and chased them through the house (all this was assumed from investigations, because bags filled with clothes were found) until finally they ended up on the beach. John fired a shot which hit Brad in the head. Back then there weren't many houses and the space between "neighboring homes" were miles and miles apart, so no one heard the gunshot. Then John preceded to chase Angel. Until, presumably he shot her too and then shot himself. Angel's body was never found. Authorities concluded that when John shot Angel, he threw her into the Ocean, and that her body drifted away. This was too much for Abby. She started crying uncontrollably . She was going to ask her parents if Angel Stephen was related to her. Even though she was sure Angel was an great-something of hers, she felt so close to her. She made a copy of the paper and stuffed the paper in her backpack.
When Abby arrived home, she was welcomed by blinking lights of red and blue. It was the cops and paramedics and fire men. She ran to one of the cops and explained she lived there.
"I'm sorry, but something terrible has happened", said the cop to Abby. You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click hereScroll all the way down to read replies.Show all stories by Author: 55592 ( Click here )
