anne of green gables/Pros and Cons of PBS pledge drives................midnightly

once a year sometimes twice they put on TV thier pledge drives and a movie(normally a 4-5 hour movie) Anne Of Green Gables the Sequal is on today and it's a 4 hour movie but it's 6 with the pledge breaks about every 45 minutes or so they last about 15-20 minutes there is a great pro to this.. you get 45 minutes of uninterrupted movie but then there is 15 minutes of down time *yawn* unfortunately i can't pledge so it's just a buncha people talking.. that is a big of a negitive about the pledge drives but the show that they usually use(the anne of green gables series) is a good quality family show for all ages.. i used to watch them when i was real little(they came out orignally the first one about 87 and i watched it then!) I donno how big these are in the US but they are well known in canada(they are a canadian production) But it's great a channel what holds to good values and asks viewers to help out without selling out to the big cable companies.. okies now i'm just rambling*L* anyone else watch the anne of green gables series and love em?? i certianally do!
