well it depends on where you are at in the country i'm from the south oklahoma to be exact and in tulsa which is considered the buckle of the bible belt. I'm baptist. With being baptist it depends on the preacher, some do heck fire and brimstone, and some just crack jokes. It all depends on where in the country it's being praticed and on the preacher ![]() |

Ok I think its the difference in the way they are baptized. Baptists are totally immersed in the water while Methodists are just sprinkled. Not sure if thats the only difference though. ![]() |

The main difference that I know of is that Baptists Baptize you when you feel you are ready. While Methodists Christen the small ones more like Catholics. Other than that I think it is mostly ceremonial differences. - ladyladonna ![]() |

OMG, its soo funny you should ask that, I am a methodist, born and raised. But right now, im going to a private Baptist Highschool. I get put down a lot being im of a differnt religion than the rest of the class, but im secure in my faith.. But the only true differnce i see, (every baptist church is differnt) the church i go to dont believe in wemon ministers, and methodist do, and baptist only believe in the KJV bible, and methodist believe in other bibles as well. Baptist are more narrow minded than Methodist. ![]() ![]() |
