Yes, I've shed my tears and felt the pain. It makes me a better person for realizing the torment they are reliving. I also realize how lucky I am and that I need to thank God every day. Now, it's time to shut out the reality, turn off the lights but always respect the victims. Good post.  |

September 11 was yesterday for us in Australia. Last nite they had a special on tv that showed (for the first time) video footage of a film crew that were with the very first firefighters to arrive on the scene after the FIRST tower was hit (this guy was actually filming a documentory on firefighters and just happened to be there filming when this all happened) It took us into the tower after it was hit, showed them trying to get people out, you heard bodies hitting the ground around all the firefighters as people were jumping out, you were 'in' tower 1 as it collaspe. You saw, felt and experience what many of the firefighters would have. I only got about 20 mins into before i had to turn it off. I had tears in my eyes, i felt physically sick to the stomach. i couldnt handle it. it rehashed everything that i felt on that day last year, but this time i experienced more that i wanted to  |

I did my best NOT to watch the TV today, I couldn't bear to watch it, I watched about an hour of it, and I couldn't take it anymore, I just got myself to stop crying ....But today, when I was watching the new, a comercial really touched me. it had a picture of a street with a bunch of houses before 9/11, and it said something like "When the terrorists attacked America, they wanted to change it forever" then it showed the same street after 9/11 and it was COVERED in American flags, then said "And they were right" my eyes are starting to water as I'm typing this..  |

Well I don't need hugs, I guess that a little pat on the back is ok  I haven't cried or anything. Mostly I just feel angry and sad for humankind, sad that people everywhere can just be taken in the blink of an eye by people that are so evil.  |
