This is in memory of the 2,786 civilians, police, firefighters, paramedics and port authority workers who lost their lives at the World Trade Center.
This is in memory of the 184 civilians and armed service men and women who lost their lives at the Pentagon.
This is in memory of the 40 heroes who overtook their captures and saved, what could only be assumed, countless numbers of people in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
This is in memory of 8:46 am, when American Flight 11 crashed into World Trade Center, north tower.
This is in memory of 9:03 am, when United Flight 175 hit World Trade Center, south tower.
This is in memory if 10:05am, when the south tower collapsed and of 10:29 am when the north tower collapsed.
This is in memory of a United States and its people becoming so united the response to all of these tragedies leaves me speechless. The people who fought to get into the "war zone" to help however, where ever they could. The people who stood in line for over an hour to donate blood within minutes of these horrors happening.
This is for all of the children who were left with just one parent or possibly no parents because of these vicious terrorists.
I personally and humbly thank every single person who was involved in some way on that day. You helped me to believe in my fellow man again. You showed me that heroes exisist in real life, not just comic books.
This is my hearfelt thanks. I feel i could do so much better than this but for now this is all I can come up with. Thank You everyone. Words cannot describe the emotions I am feeling now. My heart swells with pride in being an American but it also breaks for those who died on this tragic day. Once again, you all have my humble Thanks.
