Amen to that. I'm tired of this crap, something must be done if our nations are to survive. |

True. I'm sick to death of other countries and our own citizens bagging Australia in it's stance on illegal immigrants. It's the same world over. People are all boohoo about these people yet they are still criminals and they are being immortalised and us hardworking lawabiding citizens are being labeled racists! |

i don't have a problem with memorial services on 9-11, i think the people need to mourn our losses and accept that a great tragety has taken place and that, family, friends, aquaintances, children, suffered and died unexpectedly en mass. i don't at all mean to defend what has been don to us, i am all for kicking some hiney but i think it is important to acknowledge the tragedy, mourn properly, and move on. although i watched news coverage as soon as they had it you have to understand how hard it can be to accept the reality. i have never seen anything of a size comperable to the twin towers and the amount of people working within it save the ocean. i have only been to the states that edge mine briefly and no where else. so even seeing it happen on t.v. and hearing the screams and all that awful pain and sufferig, it was buffered by a sense of unreality. there has not even been experience of tragic war in my lifetime. it has been a very sheltered life. what i worry about is the need some people feel to let it go and forgive this terrible hatred of our nation. i am afraid it will destroy us. i will admit i am afraid. the anniversery is coming and it is scary to think it might happen again but in reality it could happen any time.i never knew fear like this. my mother did. her generation had bomb shelters and air raid drills. it is sad and scary to have these fears. i worry for my son's safety....doheney |
