Great. And just when I was gonna be the Grand PooBaa of the Loyal Order of Water Buffalo's. Now I gotta take an IQ test...... Guess George is gonna get it as well lol good debate. Yes I think They should run an IQ test on them. High School level? nope much higher if you asked me. High School level is to say the least not very high considering the world today. |

Yeah, but past that everyone may of majored in differant things, maybe the basic overall intelligance of a college grad.---they need to take something...at least...things are looking grim for America when a president makes up words. |

But isn't the biggest test of wether your stupid or not when you choose a job that makes you look like an idiot in front of a whole nation. Also if that's the case maybe everyone who voted them in should have an IQ test given to them to see what they were thinking. |

Many of our politicians are lawyers, which indicates a high level of intelligence. The President has a Master's degree--no small feat. |

They definitely know more than a high school grad. They know the game and they know more about this country than most. It just seems that right now their brains are on vacation...for a long time. They simply do not question actions before they pass bills...they ask questions later. |

An IQ test tests your cognitive ability on shapes and mechanic reasoning mostly. I don't see how that would help or hurt a politician. A good majority of politicians did go through college, they are not necessarily stupid. I think if we remember right Bush graduated, and guess who dropped out of law school? None other than Al Gore. I think a "common sense" or "degree of evilness" test would be better LOL. |

Oh my god I am really fed up with this stuff . Just because you people think George W. Bush's when wasnt right and that he is just a flat out good president you make these stupid stupid thoughts that he some kind of stupid or retarded person . I meant really how is a person going to get into office and fool every person and have an IQ of 36 . I mean really you guys are you really so brainwashed or can you just not think of a legible arguement as why Bush isnt a good president. |

I am not just talking about bush...I am talking about congress and most some people on office. We should just take more precautions about excatly who we let run, becasue more than not we do not have a WHOLE lot of educated voterd voting. |

I would agree in principle, but if we did give IQ tests for politicians some politicos would band together to form an anti-discrimination lobby for stupid people. Would get reeeaaaal messy. (And just so ya know, I'll be voting for GWB again!) Peace, Tom |

The politicians are smarter than most Americans. And Tex-he's not a very good President. And its not because I think he has a low IQ. I do not agree with most of his policy. |

Some, yes are very much smarter than the average american. But some just know how to play the game, they know how to be a polititan, that takes brains yes, but they may not know some basic intelligance. With that said, and most opinions and thoughts said, should VOTERS take a basic intellignace test before they can vote? Should we be letting stupid people elect who runs our country. Really, should uneducated people be decided the fate for the country and children? |

No, but we should severly cut the salary and expense accounts and see after that how many of them still want to get involved. Better yet, make most positions voluntary. See how many people 'do it for the love of their nation' then... |

If we drastically cut their salary and expense accounts, the only ones running then would be those who only need enough money for a drink or a fix. |

I doubt that Posey. Addicts are easy to spot. The way I would have it is like an American Idol showdown type of deal. Everyone who wants to run submits an entry. The legitimate are weeded out from the retarded. They are displayed at primetime on major networks at a fixed time every week. Over a period of four years the next president is determined. Lower positions can remain much the way it is now, with the perks that come with those jobs taken away. If your representative is a freebaser, I think you'll know about it rather quickly... |
