Today I was checking the news on yahoo.com and I saw that a couple who sells houses for profit ended up buying Kurt Cobain's childhood home. They claim that they didn't know that it was his old home when they first bought it. But now they are selling it on Ebay. The minimum bid is $200,000. What do you guys think about that? The house isn't even valued close to that. I find this very disturbing but I'm not sure why I do..it's just one of those feelings. So what do you guys feel about them selling it for that much just because it was Kurt Cobain's home?

Date: 9/8/2002 5:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 31765    supply and demand and free enterprise. if some idiot is willing to pay that amount, more power to the sellers.
Date: 9/8/2002 6:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 20956    i guess if someone is willing to pay that much for the house, then thats their problem. Its amazing what a bit of fame can do!
Date: 9/8/2002 8:51:00 PM  From Authorid: 53129    only people with money to waste would buy it so it`s not a problem for them, it`s just helping the seller out.
Date: 9/9/2002 2:04:00 PM  From Authorid: 45619    i think they do it just bc they can, and bc they know people will pay that price. just like some people who will buy some celebrity's already chewed piece of gum for hundreds of dollars, sickos! they sell stupid crap like that bc they know they can get a lot of money off it!
