I wonder if perhaps they have found another neighbour to watch it, it might be worth asking around. Did they drop a key through your mail-box? Have a look and see if there is one, it might have been kicked under something.  |

I really doubt that they would leave the kitten all by itself for the week,but if you are worried check around to see if they made other plans with somebody else or check and see if they left the key in your mailbox,or go to the home and check and see if they have the key there.  |

maybe they didn't leave the kitten with you maybe with someone else.. it isn't your fault they could have called before they came over with it or rang the doorbell  |
