Music for no reason!

Ok, I don't know how many of you have or are around kids, but they get the most annoying toys, and a lot of them are motion sensitive. Well, if any of you have read some of my posts then you know that my house is haunted by ghosts that follow me, so it's not really bothering me.....but it's freaking out my husband! One of my son's toys, a little giraffe Fisher Price shaker toy that lights up and plays a song when you shake it, has been going off all by its lonesome. We can be in a compleatly different room, and off it goes just singing away. Sometimes five or six times a day! I've left it in the middle of the floor, nothing around it, picked my son up, and left the room.....just that quick, as soon as we are out of vibration range, it goes off. My son (eleven months old) just looks at it, he smiles at it at times. But the funny thing is, sometimes it does it when my son is starting to get into something that he really doesn't need to, he hears it and goes to it. He has a ball that moves by itself too, but it doesn't do it that often, this giraffe has been going off every day for about three weeks now.

Sorry if I put this in the wrong catagory, I haven't submitted anything in awhile.

Date: 9/8/2002 12:22:00 AM  From Authorid: 15070    That is funny! (did you read about the stupid smoke detector I had that kept going off-without the batteries?)...this happened to me once with a furby. Which is really creepy when it starts it's stuff at 2:00am. It's a little nerve racking, being in a haunted house

Date: 9/8/2002 8:29:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 6731    My old apartment did that! With the smoke detector I'll go check that out though, thanks for the comments
Date: 9/8/2002 10:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 55980    My nephew had a toy that did that too. It would just turn off and on all on its own. It wasn't the batteries because they were new. Plus they have strange things happen in that house...I am an egg
