10 seconds is an extremely close small thing. if he said 10 minutes it would have been taken more seriously. If they called the police they could have tracked the call and the man would have been arrested(i know this because i know people who called bomb threats on my high school we had about 10 in a 6 month period)  |

I agree 10 seconds is a small amount of time...but hey one never knows right? I think what gets to me is that the manager didnt care enough to take it seriously...no matter what amount of time was said. A threat is a threat and shoudnt be taken lightly. thanks for the comment.  |

That's crazy what that first manager said. Even if something MIGHT be a joke, when it's something like that you should always treat it like it's not.

I woulda said screw the manager and called the police on my own.....forget the thought of losing the job because you 'disobeyed' one of the managers. joke or no joke something like that needs to be reported so the person can be charged for making threats etc....besides no future employer would hold that kind of firing against anyone   |
