She didn't speficy why an underwire wasn't good, maybe it puts pressure on the softer tissue, causing iritation and resulting lumps. Thats just my guess though. As to the repies, I really don't mind not getting many as long as people are a little more informed. I guess it isn't so embarassing for me since I've been thru the possiblity twice.  |

I have fibro-cystic breast disease as does my mother... she's had several lumps removed and/or aspirated... so far, so good... none have been cancerous. I haven't found any lumps, other than obvious cysts. My Grandmother beat breast cancer sometime in the 50's only to have it return 13 years later in her lung. My aunt went through a masectomy last year... her 2nd bout with cancer... I firmly believe that none of us can be reminded enough to do those monthly exams and make sure you have that annual physical. Our lives may depend on it. Thanks for the public service announcement  |
