I don't recall ever being hit or abused physically. I don't recall my father evebn even spanking me. However: I keep having this dream about me being about 5 years old, and running from someone, and I look down and on my legs, and arms I have bruises, and I am screaming for my father to help me. I am 22, and I was raised by my grandparents. My father remarried after my mom left us, and I continued to live with my grandparents. I never knew my mother. Well some bad things did happen to me as a child, that aren't rated G, but I can say that I did seek help for those actions that were inflicted apon me... but like I said I can never recall being hit. My husband has never ever ever hit me, and neither has anyone else that I can think of. Well my dream took a turn last night, and I was playing a game with my cousins at a young age, and the door opens, I see legs and no face, but I am terrifeid of this person. Before I could look up to see a face, I am sitting strait up in bed crying, and my husband asking me whats wrong. I have an appointment to go see my doctor. I have never had dreams like this before, and it is really upsetting me. I don't know what to make of all this. They have been happening more frequently the last few days than ever before....I guess I have been having them for about a year now, off and on, but they are getting stronger, and more vivid. I can actually see the blood dripping from my fingernails where I have scratched something or someone. In one of my dreams my husband was trying to break through a wall to get to me, and my father was helping him. In the one that scared me the most, I was driving my car, and my son walks out into the middle of the road, and I accidently hit him. He is only a baby... I get out of the car, and i see a man walking away from the road, the same legs I have seen in all my other dreams. What do you make of this --- if anything? What should I do.
