now days, some people have given up trying to bring others up to their level of intelligence. they have rolled over, and decided to "go with the flow" rather than stand up for principles. they lie to themselves to get along with the cretin population/masses of ignorant ones who seem to have a voice in our society now -- ala "Jerry Springer" --- "The Revolt of the Masses", by Ortega, is a good book to read to better understand how wrong things have become. sb12  |

intelligence is a great intimidator towards people.. she may figure if she acts ditsy people won't be intimidated of her as much if she geared down in her studies and showed off her smarts!  |

maybe she feels that if she sayd that she is smart ppl will treat her differently and bully her about being smart bc a lot of ppl pick of ppl who do good at there studies and she jsut says that she is stupid not for attention or anything but to fit in with the other kids! she doesnt want ppl to knwo that she is really smart! *hugs*  |
