try the book "Books Of Blood, Volume Three" BY Clive Barker. There are plenty of great short stories with ideas in them. The book is a good read too. Or just reread the Regulaters again See how he did it...taurus32 ( hope I helped)..=)  |

A good psychological thriller is all about atmosphere. I'm not familiar with the entire story of Silent Hill (played it maybe twice) and never read Regulators, so I'm not sure what to suggest.  |

Perhaps a visit to an old fashion mental institution, where they hear the screams of the patients still echoing in the halls. Is this going to be a "Scream" style slasher film, or a mess-with-your-head "Ninth Gate" type movie? |

Mess with your head kind of film. There's going to be horror and blood but nothing along Slasher Film lines...more of a Silent Hill / Resident Evil type horror.  |
