Tonight was an awesome night.
Wednesday, August 28th, 2002. << that is a date that will always stick close to my mind! I can check one thing off in my mental check list.. I wanted to see one of my idols (BOB DYLAN) before he died, and well tonight I got that chance!! It was amazing.
The concert was awesome, he put a little funky tune to his playing of songs. I sat there , tapping away to the wonderful music he strung from that guitar. Amazing. The sound was great, and the atmosphere of the concert was very mellow, just my sort of thing.
There was NO fancy light show, fire works, whatever. It was very simple, but it was an amazing show. All about Bob Dylan!!! When he started up Knockin' On Heavens door, I was estatic. I love that song, and to hear it LIVE, was an amazing experience. (If you cannot tell, I really like Bob Dylan). I think I sat through the concert in a big daze, so amazed that I was sitting there, watching it all go on.
Well now its over and done with, and here I am sitting at home typing this all up. I walked away with an awesome blanket!!! (yay me!) a poster, and a little booklet. ($100 later! lol). It was all worth it!!! :)
I clearly give this concert a lighter flick up. (for respect, and admiration!) Just wanted to share this all with you.
(I actually got my Rainbow Angel name, from something Bob Dylan wrote in a thank you section of one of his books) :)
