You Can Now Have Your Deceased Loved One Turned Into Jewelry! *CC*

Due to new technology and the way bodies are cremated...you can now have your deceased loved one turned into a diamond....you can make it into a necklace, a ring, or however you want to wear it. I heard the price range was around $4,000.00 to $10,000.00....

I would want my loved one turned into a ring, because i would have a piece of them with me at all times for the rest of my life, and i could kiss it everyday, and i would never feel sad, and i would feel closer to them.

I don't think this is gross at all. I LOVE this idea.

What do you guys think about this new form of cremation?

Date: 8/28/2002 6:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 61834    i wouldn't pay that much to have someone who is dead to sit on my finger. I don't need stuff like that to rember my loved ones.. I rember them in my heart..RacerX

Date: 8/28/2002 7:13:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 19927    no its not disrespectful if the person approves of it before he/she dies..then its okay. Well they'll be dead anyway..i'd rather have a piece of them with me that lasts eternity instead of knowing they are gonna rot in a pile of dirt within a few months.
Date: 8/28/2002 7:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 42069    I guess everyone is entitled to an opinion. Whether it be right or wrong.

Date: 8/29/2002 6:19:00 AM  From Authorid: 46515    I think they should just shrink the head and put diamonds in the eyes and a ruby on the nose. LOL! (Just kidding sissy.) I guess it's an ok idea if the deceased person doesn't mind.
Date: 8/29/2002 6:49:00 AM  From Authorid: 10733    *shiver*
Date: 8/29/2002 3:30:00 PM  From Authorid: 48525    OR you can just purchase one of those special lockets at the funeral home that will hold a small amnt of ashes from your loved one for a lot less money. Technology is a great and wonderous thing, but what can be done with it is alot of the time very mislead. Just because they CAN do it doesn't mean it should be done. Anything to separate a fool and his money, I guess.
Date: 8/30/2002 4:07:00 AM  From Authorid: 45800    scary. it sounds like if I turned my dad into a ring and went on a date, it would be if i took my dad along with me on my date and what if something happened on the date? or what if dad doesn't like the guy? will something happen to the guy or something? hmmmm....
