now that we are sitting in the last 3, even if they DO get voted off they are still going to have a decent career in the music business... like simon said when the BRITISH version of this show ran the winner was signed and a millionaire within a week.. the runner up was also signed and a millionaire within a week  |

Well, seeing that it's American's voting, and not really taking what Simon says when they do, at that, Then it stands to reason that the people are chosen by what Americans in general think. I happen to think that Kelly is the best on there, and then Tamyra was my second favorite and I cant believe she was voted off. But as others said, the top 5 on the show will be in the spotlight for awhile, and if they are lucky enough, just maybe make it big time. Also, I am a singer, and for them to be able to get up on National TV and perform their hearts out, takes guts and talent, so I think they all deserved to be on the show and to show the Nation how they performed. And in the end the voters will pick who they like, not exactly on expertise in the music industry at that. Another thing, I dont think Justin "has the looks".. lol... But I still like his voice, so that goes to show that everyone isnt depending on the looks..   |

Amanda... Didn't you hear? There were a couple of different rumors going around. One of them was that someone else was picking who got vote off, and the second was that some people kept calling giving an unfair advantage to the contestant they were voting for. (Of course I was one of them, but he got voted off anyway  ) |

Either way,it doesnt really matter when you look at the big picture. All of the contestants are going to have attention and the oppurtunity to pursue their careers by just being seen on National tv with their talents. |

When the show first started I SAID to my kids it will be Justin he will win over everybody but then........ I heard Kelly's Respect....Good she was. i was not a fan of Nikki to much. My vote is for Kelly. She has sang her buns off. I was also shocked by Tamara's let go. I thought for Sure it would be her and Kelly left at the end.Guess we will see next week what happens. Christina was much better and prettier than she'll ever be! I'm sorry, but that's just my opinion. And tonight was the first night Nikki didn't get lucky. Oh well, gotta respect her for trying. Now it's down to Kelly and Justin; I like them both, so it doesn't matter who wins. Kelly is the only one with talent. Macy Gray, or whatever that guy with the 'fro's name is, doesn't have a prayer. Nikki looks like a stripper, and I have no doubt that she'll go back to doing that in the near future. Karaoke queen, maybe, but I doubt that she has what it takes to make it in 'the business'. The last thing anyone needs is a packaged singer with carefully crafted hits, but we're goin' to get one anyway so it might as well be Kelly. She's cute as a button so I'm glad she's gonna win. I am glad I have found some people who feel as I do on this. I didnt like all of Justin's songs he sang. I didnt think he'd make it as for as he did. I think he's OK but not enough to win. As for as Nikki..she's just been down hill for me. |
