Oh and try writing a play that the two of you can do for your parents tonight, use paper bags to make costumes. When my sons was that age I use to love watching the little plays they would put on and it kept the busy for hours. |

Ignore her, let her scream for a while. When she has calmed down, why not start doing something arty using paper and glue, something messy and fun for her. Are you allowed to use the oven? Why not do some baking of cakes and stuff? Blue Fire Ghost's suggestion is great too! |

Well you could color, paint, draw. Its summer so have a water ballon fight or water hose fun. You can also get activities off the internet from a search engine. I know they have the recipie for the dough that you can make handprints in and its really easy. Hope this helps. Skeptic Angel |

Mom said no. Good reason. She may be 5, but she knows what punishment is (I hope). Do something else. Sidewalk chalk, wet her down w/the waterhose & see who can stay rt. under it the longest, my nephew is 5 & he likes all those. Ride bikes. If your not allowed outside w/out mom, color, watch a movie, play Barbies(you know you wish you were still young enough to do that & still be cool) teach her how to draw something in particular...she feel 'big'. |
