Simon said nothing, but the way his mouth had twisted itself into a smile had told Dawn that he wanted that very much. "Very well then, you can leave for home in the afternoon. I'll send a messenger when I get some news of her" Dawn said with a delighted tone. Everything was set, the only problem was IF they could find her.

Simon said his good byes and was escorted by Brooke and a few attendants to the edge of the faerie grounds. When he said good bye to Brooke, he felt a pang of remorse, almost like he didn't want to leave. "It must be because she looks like Carina" Simon told himself to reason out the feeling. "Good Bye, Simon. We'll send a messenger to fetch you when we have news. Just keep walking towards the sun and you'll be home" Brooke choked on her words like she was crying. Simon flashed her a smile and checked the sky for the faithful sun. Looking at the sky, he saw the sun straight infront of him and Simon began walking. He ran towards home in a way that made the boy feel careless, a feeling he had longed for.

He reached home not that far away. He swung the door open. Walking straight to his bedroom, the face of Carina found its way into his head. Collapsing on the chair in the sitting room, he wondered ".....What's for dinner?". Smiling at himself, Simon half walked-half dragged himself to the basement and got his fishing pole and tackle box. The spot he usually fished at was peaceful and calm, giving him time with nature and to sleep.
