Daddy...The Man We Knew..............TxTornado

He wasn't just a person,
he was a family man.

He used to have adventures,
til we were in his plans.

Working many jobs did he,
til', Jokes earned family keep,

Still giving out his thoughtfullness,
By giving to the Weak.

Not a single day went by that,
he wouldn't make you think,

Of Natures Things God gave to us,
in each word he would speak.

It often was at morning's break,
he shared his thoughts so new.

Sipping on his coffee cup,
Among the fresh fell dew.

There's many things one could say,
About this man we loved.

Each having their own ideas,
of what they thought he was.

He was a father, a husband, a brother, and friend
to give this man his dues.

For, if you asked him to give up one,
there isn't one he'd choose.

But, One thing is for Certian,
about this man we cared,

We will think of him,
each and everytime,
there is a morning glare.

Thank you for letting me share
and find therapy in writing this.

Judi
