Personally it seems to me that humans in general have a way of thinking that THEY (as a species) are most important. he truth is that if all the humans disappeared, there isn't really one species that is soley dependent upon us. We wouldn't make that much difference in those regards... and the Earth in general would be better off. Go figure. So much for thinking I am important.
But knowing this, my most important thing in this whole world is my son. To me he is... he may not be "needed" in an ecological sense, but for me he is my world. I would try to establish the foundations for the best life he could have so that he will be most importantly, Happy. |

This may sound silly what I am going to say...but I am completley serious. I think that it is important I am part of the world. It is important everyone is part of the world. It is important that everyone is alive and well, even people who kill and hurt others. It is important everyone tries to stay happy. Everyone's feelings are important. The way people look is not important. What I could do to make this world a better place is smile, not be nasty and think positive thoughts. Each positive thought I have may be sent onto someone else. Each nasty thought I have makes someone else sad. If I'm smiling when I see someone, they smile, and it brightnes up a tiny part of their life. What I would like to do is a different matter (this is the part that sounds silly) I would turn everyone's skin colour purple, or blue. This way, everyone would be the same skin colour, eliminating racial stuff. Everyone would be the same gender, and we could reproduce in a weird way like that, eliminating sexism. I would join each county together into one big one, so we can always see each other, and we will not be from different countries. We would all speak the same launguage, use the same money and we would understand each other. We would all be different, but our skin and gender would be the same. It may be impossible, but that's what I want  |

A man stood and watched him for a half an hour and then said "Look here! There are thousands of them. Do you really think what you are doing matters?" Thanks for answering, everyone, and for the thought that went into it. Most important to me in this world, is my family. My Mom, Dad, brother and sister, my niece and most of all, Stan. Most important to me overall is God, of course, but I would do anything for Him and my family.
