Fairy Tale- Ch. 4- The Trip Back

Simon and Graham along with a bag of snake medicine journeyed to the cabin on Simon's mare. Since Simon was more worried about Carina and getting to the cabin fast, he was totally oblivious of the fact that Graham's grip on his waist was getting tighter, and her head rested on his back. She was in heaven. Upon getting to the forest clearing where the cabin was located, she woke up from her daydream and scowled. Graham remembered Carina and the part where she has to save her. Simon leaped off the horse and cried out to Graham to hurry. Graham followed unwillingly and slowly.

When she got up to the bedroom, her eyes shifted between Carina's pale face and Simon's sad brown eyes. Simon had kneeled by Carina's bedside, holding Carina's limp hand. Graham turned cold towards the sorry sight. "Just give her this medicine once everyday until she wakes up" Graham muttered coldly after checking Carina. "How long before she wakes up?" Simon asked, not taking a look at Graham. Taking a glance at Carina's now purple lips, she answered "I don't know". Which was a lie, and she knew it. Carina would be up in a few hours, and then Graham will put on a show for her. Graham giggled at the sheer thought of the idea. "How about I stay and check up on Carina whie she sleeps? I have no appointments today and if I do, my secretary will phone me." Graham said in her best innocent voice. "Um, sure" Simon says, "Do you want anything to eat?". Graham looked at Simon. His eyes told her that he didn't care about her but he was being polite. Graham declined his offer. "I just need to use the washroom, if you please" she claimed. "The washroom?" Simon said while taking a glance towards Carina "It's down the hall on you left". Graham marched out of the room taking her purse. She shuffled her feet, feeling left out, as she walked to the washroom. When she got there, she took out of her purse, her cellphone and turned it off. "Now there will be no disturbances." she muttered to herself.
