Most of the stuff they try to sell you at stores is useless. Don't buy into it. You can only pull all-nighters for so long. Don't immerse yourself in EVERYTHING your first year. You're not at school to party-save drinking for Thursday thru Saturday nights. Get late classes-early classes will kill ya. Don't be too nice or too overpowering to your roomie at first...if you're too nice they'll walk all over you and if you're too territorial you're a bad name. Just be nice to everyone and make friends right away-you'll know nearly everyone on campus.  |
